My enjoyment of today increased in direct proportion to the number of times I heard the phrase "adverse weather conditions". Snow should not be feared. It should be walked in, photographed and thrown at small children.

Shoreditch Vintage



These were prompted by the excellent The Way We See It website, which welcomes submissions based on a new street every week - think of them like a dead flexible commissioning editor. I've only posted on two streets so far but it is a site well worth investigating...

Junkshop Scarecrow


This afternoon, somebody was selling their worldly possessions at a makeshift stall, down a dark alley, just off the high street. Bizarrely, they decided this scarecrow might tempt passersby down that dark alley to take a closer look...
